God is stirring up this world

L
ike an eagle that stirs up its nest and hovers over its young, that spreads its wings to catch them and carries them aloft.12 The Lord alone led him; no foreign god was with him."(Deuteronomy 32:11-12)

The eagles tend to destabilize the nest of their young's. It is so that instead of staying in their comfortable nest all the time, the mom wants the eaglets to take their flight in the air to find food for themselves.

As of this writing, there are several global flashpoints all around us

  • On-going war between world supper power Russia, and Ukraine, a world leader in terms of agricultural exports
  • Supper power China inching toward the takeover of Taiwan, the largest semiconductor producer of the world.
  • North Korea seriously threatening the South. North Korea is aligning with Russia and China.
  • China's tensions with Japan and the Philippines over the South China Sea.
  • China wants to become dominant world power within 30 years, said a Newsweek headline. For example, about 90% of the active ingredients used by US companies in drug manufacturing come from China. US healthcare is virtually in the hands of the Red Dragon of the book of Revelation.
  • There is a growing Russian military threat in Europe
  • Israel is fighting wars on seven fronts
  • The US is fighting an unconventional political and cultural wars.

Curiously enough, every one of these flashpoints could trigger nuclear war that could wipe out a big chunk of human race, which is exactly the scenario painted in the book of the Revelation. Also are there yet lessor trouble spots in nations around the world, which we need not list them all.

Meanwhile, the world is fighting non-political warfare, which seriously threatens the survival of human race:

  • Drug trafficking
  • Human trafficking
  • Unconventional human migration
  • The move towards open worship of satan
  • Climate change whether man-made or not
  • Novel or unheard-of diseases whether man-made or not

Now, the pandemic of 2020 can be seen as the worldwide Passover enactment from biblical point of view, as people around the world were baptized by locking them up inside of their own house. As in the biblical Passover of old, there were large number of pandemic related deaths at the time and thereafter.

So why was the world celebrating Passover feast, and what can we expect at the end of the festival?

We will venture out a little deeper in the wood today. So, hang tight.

The Israelites were remided

"You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt, and how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself." (Exodus 19:4)

Why did God destroy Egypt instead of simply removing the Israelites out of the hands of the Egyptians? It was because he wanted to display his power and to judge the gods of Egypt (Exodus 12:12). Not only that, the people of Israel were very fond of Egypt; They were not attracted to the promised land flowing with milk and honey. God destroyed the land of Egypt so that the Israelites would not want to stay behind.

However, despite the utter destruction God had caused, it is apparent from what they were saying through out their trip to the promised land that the Israelites still were very much crazy about Egypt. When Pharaoh's soldiers were chasing them, God assured the Israelites that it was to show his glory and not to be afraid of them. No matter how much they were told in advance, when the soldiers actually were closing in on them, they blamed Moses as follows. "As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them. They were terrified and cried out to the Lord. 11 They said to Moses, “Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die? What have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt? 12 Didn’t we say to you in Egypt, ‘Leave us alone; let us serve the Egyptians’? It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert!" (Exodus 14:10-12) Rather than being blessed in Canaan, the Israelites wanted to be slaves in Egypt. How foolish could they be?

Just before entering, they sent twelve spies to explore the land of Canaan. When ten men came back with bad news, the Israelites raised their voices and lamented as follows: "That night all the members of the community raised their voices and wept aloud. 2 All the Israelites grumbled against Moses and Aaron, and the whole assembly said to them, “If only we had died in Egypt! Or in this wilderness! 3 Why is the Lord bringing us to this land only to let us fall by the sword? Our wives and children will be taken as plunder. Wouldn’t it be better for us to go back to Egypt?” 4 And they said to each other, “We should choose a leader and go back to Egypt.” (Numbers 14:1-4).

”Then Moses summoned Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab. But they said, “We will not come! 13 Isn’t it enough that you have brought us up out of a land flowing with milk and honey to kill us in the wilderness? And now you also want to lord it over us! 14 Moreover, you haven’t brought us into a land flowing with milk and honey or given us an inheritance of fields and vineyards. Do you want to treat these men like slaves? No, we will not come!” (Numbers 16:12-14). To them, a land flowing with milk and honey was Egypt, not Canaan. And so, God decided that they could not be allowed to enter the land. Therefore, needlessly they wondered around in the wilderness, only to perish and die. As it turns out, the next forty years they spent in the wilderness was to burry the death of those who rebelled against God.

Unable to see

"Moses summoned all the Israelites and said to them: Your eyes have seen all that the Lord did in Egypt to Pharaoh, to all his officials and to all his land. 3 With your own eyes you saw those great trials, those signs and great wonders. 4 But to this day the Lord has not given you a mind that understands or eyes that see or ears that hear" (Deuteronomy 29:2-4) Why did the Israelites not want to enter the land of Canaan as said above? In their eyes, the land of Egypt was a land flowing with milk and honey, and the place was very good for spending the rest of their life. They saw the land of Canaan as a dry and unattractive place.

God prepares kingdom of heaven

Today, God wants all mankind to enter the kingdom of heaven and enjoy eternal life. We know because this is what Christ said to Nicodemus: "Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, 15 that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.” 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son." (John  3:14-18).

Jesus said everyone who believe that Christ is the Son will not go to hell but will go to heaven, which essentially is eternal life. For that reason, Jesus said, God gave up his only son and sent him into this world. The reason God sent his son into this world was to save people from going to hell; not to judge mankind. Therefore, it is clear that God's will is for every human being to go to heaven. Paul said, God "wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth."(1 Timothy 2:4).

Like the Israelites

However, just like the Israelites did not want to enter the land of Canaan, which God had prepared for them, most people do not want to enter the kingdom of heaven. But to those who believe in Him, Christ said, “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." (John 14:1-3) However, people do not believe the words of Christ. Paul said, "Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things."  (Colossians 3:2) People are not at all interested in things associated with the above. Instead, they are obsessed with earthly things.

Golden heaven

The Bible has this to say about heaven:  "The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass. 19 The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, 20 the fifth onyx, the sixth ruby, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth turquoise, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. 21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of gold, as pure as transparent glass." (Revelation 21:18-21) Heaven is the land of gold. The city walls are covered and adorned with various precious stones. However, it is a surprising fact that humans are not curious about the  the golden land with many precious stones. The same way the Israelites were not interested in the land, which God touted as the land flowing with milk and honey, people are not in the least intrigued by God's golden land called heaven.

No groaning in heaven

Not only is the land built of gold and precious stones, in heaven, God "will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” (Revelation 21:4). How comforting is it that God Himself will wipe away your sad tears in heaven. There will be no more death; no more moaning; no more groaning; no more tiredness. However, is it not totally surprising that we human beings are not looking forward to these unbelievable accommodations?

"Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. 3 No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. 4 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. 5 There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever." (Revelation 22:1-5)

According to the above scripture verses, there will be no diseases and sickness in heaven. The reason for that is because there is a tree of life that heals the nations. There are no more curses. There is no night in heaven so as to need a lamp to shine, Since there is no sunlight, you will not be bothered by the heat of the scorching sun. People are uninterested in those things, but instead looking forward to go to doctor's office where they hope their sickness will be treated. Instead of relying on the light of God, they are dependent on electric lights invented by a fellow human being; And they only rely on air conditioners made by human to cool off from the burning heat of the sun.

Destruction of the world has started

As stated at the beginning, because the Israelites would not be excited about the land of Canaan, God destroyed Egypt, the land they were obsessed with. In the same way, since people are not excited about the kingdom of heaven, God has already begun destroying this world. The same way the Israelites were obsessed with the land of Egypt, which was substantially destroyed, people are trying to repair and maintain this world that God is already in the process of demolishing.

Now, let us examine how this world already is in the process of being destroyed.

The following is what Christ said in the book of Matthew  chapter 24.

Signs of the coming of Christ

"As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” (Matt 24:3) Although we do not know the hour when Christ will come, Christ said it is possible to know the nearness of the time by observing the following signs:

Fake Christs

"Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many." (Matthew 24:4-5) Now, there have already been many fake Christs in the world who claim to be gods.

Wars

"You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come." (Matthew 24:6) The First and Second World Wars have taken place in this century. As of this writing war between Russia and Ukrain is on going. There are possibilities of more clashes between Russia and Europe. China is constantly threatening to attack Taiwan. There are also civil wars in various locations such as in Myanmar. Many countries in the world are competing to make conventional weapons of war, and Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD).

However, people are hoping to rebuild and restore the world that God has already begun to destroy. That means they are not interested in the heavenly kingdom prepared for them by God.

Famine and pestilence

"Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains." (Matthew 24:7-8) Racial issues are increasing in every country including in the United States. Many countries are facing famine. Even the United States, the granary of the world, is having issues with having too many starving people. Consumer prices are going way up. There are already too many beggars on the street. There will be more and more robbers and crime. The epidemic diseases are here to stay. Many healthy and young people are dying due to medical problems whether man-made or not. Earthquakes have become so frequent that they are considered normal occurances. All these things Christ said are the beginning of sorrow or suffering. It is also know as birth pains.

Persecution of believers

“Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other." (Matthew 24:9-10) These days, people who identified themselves as Christians are not actually saved; they do not know the truth, not following the truth, nor they talk about saving others. For that reason, several Satanic or ruthless groups of people have sprung up. In the United States, people are already afraid to openly say they are Christians. Because God has been expelled from school and offices, the rate of crime and shootings are going through the roof.  Christians are being persecuted more and more.

Many false prophets

"And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved." (Matthew 24:11-13) Because they forsake God, love has fled from people. False prophets have sprung up like mushrooms. They have deceived many. Because there is no justice, there is no love among people. All of these are signs of the coming of Christ in the last days. However, most people still do not read the Bible, even if they do, they have no understanding. For that reason, they are not prepared for what is coming their way. They keep on living their lives as they please.

Kingdom gospel

"And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come." (Matthew 24:14) The Kingdom Gospel is not the same as the Kingdom of Grace. The kingdom gospel has to do with Christ being the ruler, and repentance is the central theme. It was preached by John the Baptist, Christ and his disciples. The kingdom of grace, on the other hand, was preached by Jesus after his death and resurrection. It is not a kingdom to be established in this present world. It is about entering the kingdom of heaven. The central theme of the doctrine of kingdom of grace is about being born-again spiritually. In this church age, this doctrine of kingdom gospel is no longer preached. But it will be preached again during the time of great calamity known as the Great Tribulation.

Warning and advise

About Christ re-appearing with the sound of trumpets is written in the Bible as follows: "Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— 52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53 For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.” (1 Corinthians 15:51-53)

Again, "Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15 According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words." (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)

Jesus himself said this; “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” (John 11:25-26) "As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.” (Matthew 24:3-40)

The best preparation one can make is to accept Jesus as the Savior, Lord and God. If you want to accept the Lord Jesus Christ, Say this prayer from your heart: "Lord Jesus, I accept and believe you as God and my Savior. I accept that you have paid the penalty of sin on my behalf. Now I open the door of my heart. Enter in and rule my life. Amen.

After the rapture

If the rapture has taken place by the time you read this, you would notice the world situation has drastically changed. The whole world would by then be ruled by one person who is a dictator. The Bible has already told us that every man would be forced to have a mark on either their right hand or their forehead as follows:

"The dragon stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. It had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on its horns, and on each head a blasphemous name. 2 The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority. 3 One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed. The whole world was filled with wonder and followed the beast. 4 People worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked, “Who is like the beast? Who can wage war against it?”

5 The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise its authority for forty-two months. 6 It opened its mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven. 7 It was given power to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. 8 All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world.

9 Whoever has ears, let them hear. 10 “If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity they will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword they will be killed.” This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of God’s people.

11 Then I saw a second beast, coming out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon. 12 It exercised all the authority of the first beast on its behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed. 13 And it performed great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to the earth in full view of the people. 14 Because of the signs it was given power to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived the inhabitants of the earth. It ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived. 15 The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. 16 It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, 17 so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.

18 This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666." (Revelation 13:1-18)

The term "The beast" is written from God's point of view. In human eyes, the beast is a world leader who is a ruthless dictator. The second beast who is a religious leader will endorse the first beast, urging and causing the people of the world to worship that dictator.  Everyone will be force to have a mark, 666 (18 numbers, made up of three groups), which is the symbol of the world leader. A person who doesn't receive the mark will not be able to buy or sell anything. Not only that he could also be beheaded. If it already come to that, you should choose death without receiving the mark. The reason is because...

Whoever receives the mark of the beast will be persecuted

"A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives its mark on their forehead or on their hand, 10 they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.” 12 This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of God who keep his commands and remain faithful to Jesus." (Revelation 14:9-12)

Blessed are those who die in the Lord

"Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.” (Revelation 14:13)

" I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years." (Revelation 20:4)
